Welcome to Brad's Bikes!

When my wife told me to get a hobby in late 1999, little did she know where it would lead!

It started innocently enough, with a 1975 Norton 850 Commando, which I drove home in 30 degree weather - and I'd never had anything larger than a 400cc prior!!!

A Hobby That Grew...

January found a 1974 Triumph Trident in the garage, along with a trailer-that's trouble! The rest is history, now having many more bikes than my age in years! Keep in mind that I'd stopped riding more than 25 years earlier! My, how all that changed!

This website is dedicated to my family, who have
given me the time and support to get back into a
sport I enjoy — from collecting to riding to racing.

Check out the bikes from around the world under Photo Gallery , and visit the special guests under Family and Friends!  Interested in getting your first or next vintage bike? Check out our Current Offerings inventory!

We've all had high hopes for a great 2010, in many respects, but especially in vintage bikes, and initial reports were disappointing. I'm glad to report now that the final auction results reported much better success!

The Las Vegas Auction of 2010, held in early January each year, no doubt sets the tone for motorcycle sales for the entire year. This auction notoriously brings in buyers and sellers from around the world, with every make and model under the sun being represented. This year was no exception, with over 500 vintage bikes going under the gavel, and almost 400 of those selling at the auction.

Triumph sales were reported 79%, Nortons faired even better at 89%! Of the 6 Vincents in the auction, 4 did sell--but older HDs and Indians didn't fair as well. It does appear that three X75 Hurricanes sold, at prices ranging from $17,500-20,000. A nice but not mint MG V7 brought good money at $11,000, and a Munch Mammoth brought $78,000. Keep in mind that there are buyer and seller fees on top of these prices.

So what will Deland bring? We all know that the March event never commands the respect and the prices of Vegas. Vintage motorcycle collectors will always buy nice examples at reasonable prices, and the good news is that the ebay craze has died for the most part, so most prices are back to earth again. I plan to take an empty trailer to Florida the first week of March, there should be some bargains that weekend.

My THANKS go out to Walnecks for their coverage of bradsbikes.net, LLC in their December issue, as Biker of the Month! And thanks to Hagerty's for listing our website as one of their Top 5 favorites!
